Casino had a great vibe with fun live DJ music. Room was outdated, and the AC didn’t work well. Pool area needs better maintenance. Wouldn't mind returning for the atmosphere.

Our room was a mess when we checked in—dirty and unkempt. After switching rooms twice, we still found bugs. The staff didn’t seem to care, which made our stay incredibly frustrating. Definitely not coming back after this experience!

The lack of late, night dining options was disappointing, a common issue among many casinos. The poor ventilation led to pervasive cigarette smoke in the casino, which was off, putting.

Staying right on the waterfront was such a treat, as my room offered a breathtaking view of the Colorado River, and I could easily stroll to nearby attractions like the Colorado River Museum, just under 3 km away, and the charming Riverwalk Trail, which is less than a 15-minute walk; the friendly staff ensured that my experience was delightful, and I enjoyed the on-site dining options, especially Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, which provided delicious meals without the need to venture far. However, the room decor felt a bit dated, but the cleanliness and comfort made up for it.

Our family had an exhilarating time during the first four days of pulse, pounding college hoops at the March Fever Viewing Party at The Grand within your hotel. The lively atmosphere, featuring a 200,000, gallon shark tank aquarium and 17 private cabanas, kept us entertained and engaged.
My wife says that more family, friendly activities, like organized kids' events, could enhance the experience for families.

The room had potential—spacious and equipped with a mini fridge, but the condition was disappointing. Dated décor and visibly worn linens gave an impression of neglect. The air conditioning was inadequate, leaving us to cool down from the hallway's breeze. The bathroom showed signs of mold and peeling wallpaper. Though the front desk staff were friendly, service varied; one staff member was dismissive when I inquired about deposits, which was unhelpful. Housekeeping was lacking, and privacy was violated early on our last day. While the location's charm was appealing, the overall maintenance and service fell short of expectations. I expected more from a recognized establishment.

I enjoyed the convenient location and easy parking at the hotel. The entrance to the casino was impressive, and there were plenty of dining choices available nearby, making it easy to find something to eat.
My room had a strong urine smell, and even after a housekeeper tried to mask it with air freshener, it persisted. Additionally, the lack of handicap parking and housekeeping services were major inconveniences during my stay.

Quick WiFi and a fridge were nice touches. the bathroom had issues, including a rusted sink and grime in the tub. Air conditioning struggled, requiring us to leave the door open for relief. I encountered some cleanliness concerns in the linens, which needed attention. The staff were friendly and helpful, but maintenance issues persisted, like malfunctioning room keys. Entertainment options closed early, and the coffee service in the morning was understaffed.

69 for a full casino hotel is enticing, but the room had a serious cleanliness issue—finding a “dingleberry” and blood stains on the sheets was shocking. The staff varied; some were sweet, while a couple seemed annoyed when approached. Bubba Gump was enjoyable but slow. The dog-friendly outdoor area felt quaint. The atmosphere was nice, yet the outdated rooms desperately need renovation. The check-in experience was marred by a grumpy staff member, and we faced some checkout mix-ups. Free parking was a bonus, but I left feeling the value just isn't there anymore.

Our trip was LIT with non-stop college hoops action at the March Fever Viewing Party! Responsible gaming signs everywhere kept us in check. Troy Liquor Bar was lit, best club ever! Shark tank and cabanas made the vacay epic!
Just wished they had even more exciting nightlife options for us party animals! .

Red Asian Cuisine offers delicious Chinese and Japanese fusion dishes. Rush Lounge has hand, crafted cocktails and VIP service. Saltgrass serves top, notch food with great hospitality. My favorite was winning 10,000 credits on the Billion Dollar Buyer slot machine!

the golden nugget is so clean and close to everything - with yummy restaurants right in the hotel. the staff is super friendly and helpful. we loved the happy hour and the spacious - well-decorated room, and the free water bottles and mini fridge were a nice touch.

So, first off, the room we stayed in was pretty nice overall. The bed was comfortable, and we had all the amenities we needed. the air conditioning in our room was a bit wonky. We had to open the window to try and cool down the room, which wasn't ideal. the outlets in the room didn't hold our cords securely, which was a bit concerning. One thing that really bothered us was the service or lack thereof. Housekeeping barged into our room early in the morning, which was quite intrusive. And speaking of housekeeping, the grout in the restroom was pretty gross, to be honest. the staff at check-in and checkout were very nice and accommodating. Teresa at the reception was especially compassionate and understanding of our issues during our stay. Unfortunately, the overall experience was dampened by these issues, and we probably won't be staying at the Golden Nugget again. We've had better experiences at other nearby hotels like the River Lodge and the Edgewater. the Golden Nugget has some room for improvement, especially in terms of room maintenance and customer service. It's a shame because the location and the casino are great, but the overall experience fell short for us.

we stayed at golden nugget and had a great experience. we loved being able to have dinner both nights in the amazing restaurants in the hotel. the staff was very friendly and accommodating. the location was perfect for our needs, and we enjoyed the overall atmosphere.

The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. We had a great experience at the Salt Grass Steak House, and the front staff was friendly. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.

My stay at the hotel was a pleasant one, especially as a business traveler. The late-night service at the deli restaurant was superb, providing a tasty and convenient option after a long day of work. The hotel amenities such as the 24-hour reception, on-site car park, and free Wi-Fi made my stay hassle-free. The location by the waterfront offered breathtaking views and easy access to the Grand Canyon.
Elevator and ice machine breakdowns were a minor inconvenience.
